Where art lives
«I see strenght in the jellyfish’s delicacy… even when we break, we can be reborn»
Pilar Raventós
Hello, I’m Anna.
I grew up by the Mediterranean Sea and have always been fascinated
by what exists beneath the surface.
I work with layers of colour, transparency and matter, allowing
each painting to unfold much like memories or emotions do—slowly revealing what
lies beneath each layer.
I am drawn to the beauty of what is never fully revealed, to that
which feels present and absent at the same time. Forms emerge, dissolve and
reappear, much like many of the experiences that shape and transform us.
I do not seek to explain but to suggest.
To create a space where each person can pause, contemplate and discover their own interpretation.
I do not paint the ocean itself.
I use it as a language through which to explore the emotional depths we share as human beings.
Each artwork is an invitation to descend, to listen, to remember.
And perhaps, to recognise something within ourselves that has always been there.
